About Greer
For over 12 years, I have been teaching Piano to students of different ages and skill levels. I work with school students, college students, and working professionals, offering lessons that are tailored to individual needs and learning goals.
My teaching philosophy focuses on encouragement, communication, and steady progress. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring their creativity.
Students in my classes learn piano fundamentals, scales, chords, rhythm development, sight reading, ear training, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills. I emphasize understanding music as well as developing practical playing abilities.
In addition to Piano instruction, I teach keyboard skills and music reading. These subjects help students become more confident musicians and improve their overall performance abilities.
My goal is to inspire students to enjoy music while building valuable skills that will stay with them throughout their lives. I take pride in helping learners achieve meaningful progress and lasting success.

My teaching methodology focuses on communication, creativity, flexibility, and positive motivation. I believe every student should feel encouraged to learn, practice, and improve without fear of making mistakes. Lessons are always adapted to the student's age, experience, and musical interests.
Students first build strong fundamentals through posture, finger exercises, hand coordination, rhythm, note reading, and music theory. These skills provide the confidence needed to learn scales, chords, dynamics, pedal techniques, expressive performance, sight reading, and advanced piano techniques.
Every lesson includes demonstrations, practical exercises, revision, and personalized feedback. Students are encouraged to think independently and develop consistent practice habits that lead to long-term improvement.
Students enjoy learning songs from different musical styles while improving creativity through accompaniment, improvisation, and musical expression. These experiences strengthen listening skills and artistic confidence.
Besides piano, I teach keyboard skills, ear training, rhythm exercises, music theory, music appreciation, sight reading, performance preparation, and beginner composition. These additional subjects strengthen complete musicianship.
My mission is to create a friendly and inspiring learning environment where students reach their full musical potential.
