About Carole
Actually, you might find that starting with a free trial lesson to assess your level is the most effective way to identify exactly where your accent needs a little polishing. Given my background in music, I integrate a heavy focus on liaison and intonation to ensure you sound like a native speaker rather than a textbook. We will work through specific idioms and expressions, ensuring you have the cultural context required to sound natural in real world scenarios. Because I hold a BM Popular Music degree, I treat language acquisition like learning a piece of music, keeping the process rhythmic and chill.
My 11 years of experience allow me to pivot quickly if a certain concept does not land, ensuring we keep moving forward. I look forward to helping you record your first French EP after we get the language basics locked in.

Have you ever wondered why French sounds so melodic when sung? I began my musical path by exploring the nuance of language and how it shapes the way we perform, eventually earning a BM Popular Music degree to formalize that curiosity.
Working with adults, hobbyists, and those navigating the complex process of relocation or immigration, I have spent 11 years honing a method that balances technical precision with authentic expression. My students range from French learners who want to sing chanson to serious guitar students learning Québécois folk styles.
Over 100 students have passed through my studio doors, each bringing their own linguistic goals and cultural interests to the table. I have seen how mastering nasal sounds or complex verb conjugations provides a stable foundation for fluency and confidence in daily life.
Whether you are prepping for a DELF or DALF exam or simply want to navigate intermediate conversations with grace, I am here to help you bridge the gap. I find that when we treat language like music, the grammar becomes much easier to memorize. I genuinely enjoy watching someone realize they can finally articulate their thoughts in a new tongue. When I am not teaching, I am usually working on my own music projects in the studio.
