About Luyanda
I am Luyanda Mbongwa. I was born in Pietermaritzburg. I studied my undergraduate degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal where I focused on industrial chemistry. For my honors, I then studied at Stellenbosch University where I expanded my knowledge of polymers. I then worked for a chemical manufacturing company which specialized in polymeric composite materials.

My lessons will enable learners to understand the basic principles of chemistry and can then be used to solve complex problems and real life scenarios. This will start from defining atoms and we will build to the synthesis of chemicals, polymeric compounds and analysis of the materials.
