About Parmida

Having done the IB diploma and knowing its demanding nature, as a current politics student at KCL, I hope to share with IB students what helped me. Being a writing enthusiast makes me even more interested to read original essay and see how students improve their IA's.

About the lesson

Both contents and strategy for improving grades in IB exams and IA's are covered. I offer interactive lectures with students to make the materials more accessible and provide study guides afterwards. In terms of IA's, I cover all stages if needed (brainstorming of IA questions and arguments, research methods, organisation of the essay and proofreading.) My main technique is to read through the essay with the student and actively give feedback in the session. A typical length of my sessions are 1 hour however if the student requests, I offer up until 2 hours. I have gained teaching experience by teaching English (C2) level in centres in Iran and Spain. Having myself done the IB with 7s in Global politics and History with As in TOK and EE, I am equipped to help students.
