About Niamh
I am an undergraduate politics and international relations student at the university of Nottingham, with a background in in-class support. I am here to support A Level and GCSE politics students, with experience in both English and Geography, up to A Level standard. I have a fixed timetable so I can be routinely available. As I am a recent graduate of Sixth Form, I have a good understanding of the student mindset and so I am more able to relate to the pressures and worries that these exams can bring. I have been through the exam process and can therefore help students to revise in a more effective way.

I specialise in British and American politics, with good knowledge of socialism, liberalism, conservatism and feminism. I can be available for help with homework, revision, exam preparation and can also give feedback on essays.
As a tutor, I feel it is important to understand how the student works best, and so can model different ways to learn around their strengths. I feel mind-maps and note cards work well, but I can vary revision methods to suit kinetic, visual or auditory learners.
