About Jonas
I have four years of experience tutoring in politics and politics-adjacent subjects: both for high school and undergraduate students.
Over the past two years, I have also worked in politics. First as a campaigns manager, and subsequently as a parliamentary staffer.
Before starting my career, I completed a Master of Arts (with Honours) in Politics and Economics from the University of Glasgow.
I am about as big of a political nerd as you could imagine with a wide range of interests: from political history to political philosophy and comparative politics to international relations.
I primarily offer online tutoring and am very flexible with my timings. I can work both weekdays and weekends.
I do live in Edinburgh (near Marchmont), so I would be open to taking on in-person tutoring in the local area.

The lessons will be catered around your needs and your course.
I often find the best approach to tutoring is built around the course or subject syllabus.
Looking at the syllabus together, we can find areas where the student needs to work on and put together a strategy.
I have had students that primarily need help wrapping their heads around content and concepts (perhaps in political philosophy classes).
On the other hand, I have also had students who primarily need support with essay writing skills.
These are conversations we will have in the trial class and proceed from there.
