I met Fay during my time at university, and throughout my university degree, she has been a stimulating presence, inciting curiosity and critical thought in most, if not all, of our conversations. We often spoke about our interests, and she has always been incredibly encouraging, offering brilliant perspectives with which I could approach situations and thoughts. With regards to politics, she has inspired me wholly in recognizing its relevance and weight in our everyday lives and has also helped me foster knowledge regarding current events. She often sent me articles and patiently explained her projects and ideas to me. She has a genuine skill for helping others; her calm, active approach makes everything seem manageable. She breaks up tasks and helps organize ideas very well. Her passion for what she studied and wants to continue studying is easily transmitted to any individual.
