About Tay
I am a professional storyteller who is invested in driving greater media literacy and appreciation for the written word. On top of running media outfits, I also support local journalism through data journalism training and direct contributions. My students not only benefit from my pedagogy, but also gain firsthand exposure to real-world media and communications.

My lessons are structured like an inquiry: before diving into practice questions, students will dissect and analyze questions, and think critically about what the best approach is. On the backend, I use proprietary software to track student progress and identify areas of weakness, and adjust lesson content accordingly.
I previously tutored 4 tutees across a range of schools, including Bowen Secondary, Serangoon Gardens Secondary School, Raffles Girls' School, and St Andrew's Junior College. All of my tutees achieved at least a 2-grade improvement within 1 year.
