About Laura

Step beyond the page and bring your poetry to life! I’m a professional singer and published author based in Vancouver, with years of experience performing on stage and crafting words that resonate. I help poets of all levels connect with their writing, find their unique voice, and perform with confidence.

Whether you’re a beginner discovering your poetic style or an experienced poet aiming to captivate audiences at open mics, slam poetry events, or intimate gatherings, I provide personalised guidance that blends:

• Expressive vocal techniques honed through professional singing
• Breath control and pacing to enhance rhythm and flow
• Emotional connection to your words
• Stage presence and personal interpretation skills

I specialise in helping students make each poem authentically theirs while giving them the tools to engage and move an audience.

Why Choose Me:

With experience as a professional singer and published author, I combine technical voice coaching, creative writing expertise, and stage experience to help you become a confident, expressive performer. Every session is supportive, fun, and designed to empower your unique voice.
