Alex is one of our best English tutors. High-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Alex

I'm an aspiring actor and playwright with a passion for teaching English language and literature. I’m especially interested in storytelling, dramatic literature, and how language shapes culture and identity. I spend my free time reading fiction, going on hikes, bikepacking, wild swimming, and attending electronic music events. My background in drama allows me to connect with students in dynamic ways, using performance, storytelling, and discussion to make lessons more engaging. I believe that studying literature and language is not just about analysis but about experiencing stories, understanding perspectives, and developing strong communication skills.

About the lesson

In a private English tutoring session, I’d assess the student’s needs and tailor lessons with reading, grammar, and conversation practice. Using real-world examples and interactive discussions, I’d build confidence and critical thinking. Personalised resources, feedback, and homework would reinforce learning and ensure steady progress.
