I'm a student studying English with Creative Writing at the University of Leeds, who's about to go into third year. I've had one play staged and the next one has been accepted. Stylistically influenced by Pinter, McDonagh, Philip Ridley, Sarah Kane and Mike Bartlett.

Playwrighting is a practical skill and will require emphasis on the writing and reviewing of text. This will have to be built on some knowledge of theory though, particularly structure, but all of the theoretical knowledge should be demonstrated with concrete examples of best practice.
