About Gustavo
Plastic Artist in training at Escola Guignard - UEMG and artist of the scene graduated in Dance at Palácio das Artes in Belo Horizonte.
With practice in painting, drawing, photography and performance, I want to share my experiences as an artist for a space beyond the studio , and I believe that teaching is a great way to make this exchange happen!
I have been working as an artist for over five years, having participated in numerous works as a dancer and actor, on stage and in audiovisual, as an art director, assistant of direction and photography, and teacher.

☆ Painting classes in different techniques, such as watercolor, acrylic and oil.
In the classes topics such as:
• Color study: dealing with the chromatic circle, for better application and mixing of colors during creation.
• Pre and post production of a piece, from the choice of support to its preparation before and after the painting is finished.
• Practical development in the chosen technique, such as the correct use of paint, brushes and their specificities, solvents and other related products.
• Concepts in image creation, such as proportion, perspective and so on.
☆ Drawing classes in different techniques, such as graphite, colored pencils, oil pastels, ink and various pens.
In the classes, topics such as:
• Specifics of each material, from paper to different types of graphite, pens and inks.
• Basic techniques in observational drawing — objects, human figure a and landscape — such as working in light and shadow, proportion and perspective.
• I work in creative design, in order to exercise creativity, organicity and fluidity during creation.
