About Noor
My teaching approach is centred on flexibility, understanding, positivity, and integrity, allowing each student to learn piano in a way that best suits their personality and goals. I teach Piano, Music Theory, Ear Training, Sight Reading, and Composition, helping students build both technical skill and musical understanding. Every learner is different, so I adapt my lessons to meet individual needs—whether you want to prepare for an exam, perform on stage, or simply enjoy playing for yourself. I include short exercises, simple compositions, and guided listening to make learning more engaging. I also emphasise understanding the “why” behind the music, so students can connect emotionally with what they play rather than just memorise notes. Integrity and encouragement are at the heart of my teaching. I create a safe, positive space where students can express themselves freely and grow at their own pace. Honest feedback, clear goals, and consistent motivation help my students gain confidence and progress steadily. My goal is to help every learner discover their unique musical voice and build a lasting love for piano and music as a whole.

I am an experienced Piano tutor with over 5 years of teaching high school and college students. Throughout my journey, I have guided around 150 students, helping them grow from beginners into confident and expressive musicians. My lessons focus on developing technical strength, musical understanding, and emotional connection to the instrument. I strive to make every session engaging, inspiring, and suited to each student’s pace and learning style. My teaching philosophy is built on patience, positivity, and understanding. I believe that learning piano is not only about playing notes but also about expressing feelings, building discipline, and finding joy in music. I emphasise both performance and theory, helping students understand how music works while learning to play beautifully. I also encourage creativity through composition, ear training, and improvisation so that students can develop their own musical voice. Over the years, many of my students have performed successfully in school concerts, local competitions, and graded exams. I take pride in seeing them grow confident in their playing and passionate about their progress. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating environment where students not only master piano skills but also build a lifelong love and appreciation for music.
