About Pamela
"I am a piano educator with 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I enjoy helping students build confidence while developing strong musical skills. My lessons are welcoming, practical, and designed to keep students actively involved.
I teach learners of different ages and experience levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. Along with piano performance, I teach music theory, music history, technical exercises, and creative skills that support overall musical growth. I believe students learn best when they understand both how and why music works.
I adapt every lesson to suit each student's learning style and personal goals. I enjoy seeing students make steady progress through regular practice and clear guidance. One of my favorite moments is watching a student perform with confidence after weeks of preparation. Whether you are learning for exams, performances, or personal enjoyment, I will support you every step of the way. I look forward to helping you develop your piano skills and enjoy making music with confidence."

"I believe every student learns differently, so I plan each piano lesson around their goals and current ability. My teaching combines practical playing with a strong understanding of music. I encourage students to enjoy the learning process while building solid skills.
Lessons include technique, sight reading, music theory, ear training, and rhythm exercises. I also teach music history so students understand the background of the pieces they perform. Students preparing for ABRSM, Rockschool, or A Levels receive structured guidance that matches the exam requirements.
For students who enjoy jazz, I introduce chord voicings, improvisation, and lead sheet reading in a simple and practical way. For those interested in modern popular music, I teach accompaniment patterns, playing by ear, and song interpretation. I also encourage composition and simple arranging so students can explore their own musical ideas.
I often use familiar songs to explain theory because students remember concepts more easily that way. One student gained confidence after writing a short melody that later became part of their recital performance. My lessons always balance technical development, creativity, and musical understanding. My goal is to help every student become a confident pianist who enjoys learning and continues to grow with every lesson."
