About Kattie
"Holding an Artist Diploma in Vocal Studies from Singapore Management University provides me with a deep technical foundation. I recall the precise moment a student realizes how posture and hand position transform their playing.
Over 13 years of teaching, I have supported 114 students in mastering sight reading and chord voicing. We integrate music theory, sight playing, and scales and arpeggios to build strength. Practicing hand independence alongside memorization techniques creates a solid framework.
Exploring jazz improvisation and dynamics and expression allows for creative growth. This artistic journey remains a central part of my life."
