About Erin
"Music performance is my core identity since finishing my BMus at Victoria University of Wellington. 13 years teaching piano means I prioritize exact posture and HAND POSITION. Memorization techniques alongside rhythm and timing serve as my fundamental pillars for students.
My approach builds deep skill sets including chord voicing and classical repertoire mastery. I teach sight transposition, jazz improvisation, and complex scales and arpeggios to keep learners sharp. ABRSM and Trinity grade exam prep remains a staple of my work. I enjoy watching students succeed."
