About Alan
Hello! I am Mr. Alan!
Since I first started banging on the piano as a toddler and singing at the top of my lungs, I have always loved music. The first chance I got, I started taking private piano lessons and continued those all the way to college. Anytime there was a chance in school to be involved in something musical, from marching band or jazz band, to theater and chorus, I wanted to be a part of it.
It is my goal as a piano and music teacher to help each student find the same love of all things music that I have always had, and be able to enjoy and use their knowledge of music the rest of their life.

This class is a weekly, one-on-one piano lesson for ages 5-18 who are just beginning or have less than a year of piano training. The teacher has extensive experience with young beginner students and has a very fun and enthusiastic teaching style that suits well for young learners and will help them enjoy their lessons and look forward to each class. Each student will need to have a piano or keyboard, and also be required to purchase their own songbooks (link given by teacher after first lesson).
