About Irene
My piano studies begin at the age of 6 years old.
My parents are musicians, so music has always been part of my life. Professionally I alternate my passion for music and dance.
From a very young age I started studying music, music theory, chamber music and piano. My musical background ranges from classical music to jazz and modern music styles such as blues, latin and rock-pop. Finally I have also studied Flamenco-piano at the Taller de Músics music school in Barcelona, Spain.
I have participated in several music projects: I was the pianist of a Big Band, and I co-created some small projects.
As a teacher I have experience in private lessons especially for children and adults of basic-intermediate level. I have also worked in some private music schools where I taught children.

Whether you have ever taken piano lessons or know absolutely nothing about the world of music, I encourage you to continue on the musical path!
In my classes, the student's needs are the guiding thread of the class structure. Following your musical interests and your level we will build the technical study of the piano and music. In case of children students, the formation remains the same but adapted to the level and age of the student.
Whether you are a beginner student or have already studied some piano, we will:
- Consolidate your technique with technical studies of agility and finger coordination.
- Application of music theory to the piano to understand music as a totality.
- We will delve into the world of scales and chords so that you can better understand how the world of composition works.
- We will talk about the difference of musical genres and the importance of improvisation as a creative resource.
- And finally we will work on the repertoire that interests you most: rock, pop, jazz, blues, classical music or flamenco are the styles I have been playing.
Also, if you think you need to complement your training with some theory classes on musical language and note reading, we can talk about that too!
