About Raphaelle
A musician since childhood, I started with the accordion, then the piano. I've always played music. I'm also a singer and passionate about musical theatre. I trained at the Avignon Conservatory of Music (France) in piano, chamber music, music theory, harmony, and contemporary music, then I moved to London to teach piano and play in bands. I am also a Music Director for Musical Theatre plays. I like to take part in different music projects as much as I can.

I've been a piano teacher for over 10 years. I love teaching my passion for music, and I'm a patient teacher. I adapt to each student: their age, their musical aspirations, the styles they'd like to play, and I then design a personalised programme for each student. Regardless of the style(s) covered, I always include a warm-up and classical fundamentals in my lessons so that the student has the best possible foundation and placement. We can also play together, covering repertoires for four hands. I also like to work with sheet music and chord charts so that my students can be independent if they want to play a piece on their own. Enjoyment is what I want my students to achieve with music!
