About Reina
I have been teaching piano for 9 years, helping students build strong foundations and expressive musical ability. I earned a B.Mus in Piano Performance and later an M.Mus in Music Pedagogy, which gave me both professional performance expertise and deep understanding of effective teaching approaches. My lessons combine technical discipline with creative exploration so students grow into confident musicians.
I believe piano learning should feel encouraging and joyful. Some students want to play casually, others aim for exams or performances, and many want to develop deeper musical understanding. I adapt lessons to each learner’s goals, blending structured exercises, repertoire guidance, and theory support with patience and motivation.
Beyond teaching, I remain engaged with piano through performance projects, repertoire study, and ongoing exploration of music education methods. These experiences keep my lessons fresh and inspiring. Watching students develop confidence, skill, and personal musical identity is one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

Piano lessons become inspiring when students learn not only how to play correctly, but also how to express themselves through music. My teaching focuses on posture, finger coordination, rhythm accuracy, sight-reading, musical phrasing, and creative interpretation. Each lesson combines structured exercises with enjoyable repertoire so learners develop both technical strength and emotional connection to music. Sessions are supportive, motivating, and designed to help students feel confident at every step.
Lessons are personalised for each learner’s level. Beginners work on note reading, simple melodies, rhythm foundations, and comfortable hand technique. Intermediate students develop stronger coordination, chord understanding, pedalling skills, expressive dynamics, and improved sight-reading. Advanced learners refine advanced repertoire, stylistic interpretation, audition preparation, performance confidence, and musical storytelling. Every session includes practice strategies that help learners progress independently between lessons.
Learning piano strengthens focus, patience, creativity, and confidence. Students often feel empowered when they can bring music to life with their own hands. My goal is to create a warm learning environment where learners feel supported, inspired, and proud of their musical growth.
