About Anna
My name is Anna Kennedy, I am a second-year university student studying in Edinburgh! I have always loved music and am passionate about the piano. My mother is a professional pianist who is a qualified piano teacher, and having grown up under her supervision in this instrument, I love seeing how a good teacher can help the next generation also learn to adore the piano! Having grown up surrounded by music, and being taught lessons my whole life, I am aware of both the struggles and the joys of learning this new skill, and will be friendly and patient!

My approach to lessons will be based on how you would like to best learn! If you would like to progress through grades, I will introduce you to the syllabus and assist you with preparing for your exam. If you are a beginner, I can teach basic theory, such as note names, and help you begin playing! The typical lesson length would be 40 minutes, and would be most appropriate for younger students who are beginner to intermediate levels (Grades 1-4).
