About Robert
Spending 2 decades at the keys reveals how much technique influences the music we make. I often watch a student finally grasp the mechanics of rhythm and timing after weeks of careful practice.
My teaching includes ear training, chord voicing, and pedaling technique for those ready to move past the basics. Music theory provides the framework for everything we play together. We explore scales and arpeggios to build finger strength for those complex passages.
Accompaniment skills and memorization techniques are useful tools for every pianist. I enjoy working with my 233 students to see their confidence grow.
