I cannot recommend Jacob Huggins enough, if you are looking for a teacher that understands the piano not just as an instrument but as a work of art he is the teacher for you. I've been studying under him since late 2019, in person and in video throughout the coronavirus pandemic. In that time he has shared his great knowledge of the mechanical aspects of the piano and an undeniable enthusiasm for all music as an artform. Throughout our lessons Jacob has come prepared with a rich and manageable curriculum, while also holding me accountable to come prepared as well by outside practice and preparation. Under Jacob, every ounce of passion and interest you give to him and the piano he will return to you tenfold.
