Piano lessons from a conductor based in London. Beginner - Advanced. ABRSM scheme.

I have been having lessons with Alex for just over a year. Alex is friendly and patient and makes the lessons fun. He listens to what I want to do and gives me the confidence to have a go. His instructions are clear to follow and he gives useful tips on how to improve.
I have been playing for several years but have seen great improvement in my playing during the last 12 months.

I approached Alex for lessons in March 2020 and found him through an online search for a Violin teacher. I get nervous when meeting new people, but Alex made me feel comfortable straight away and I greatly enjoy our lessons.

He explains things clearly, and takes my personal goals into consideration for long-term lesson planning. Alex is calm, attentive and amicable during lessons and voices corrections or new information in a way that's easy to act on and to understand.

Alex supplies a good range of practice material between our lessons, and I feel he encourages and makes me aware of my strengths whilst also supporting and helping me build on my weaknesses in a way that always leaves me feeling as though I've made some kind of progress.

Very happy to have him as my teacher and would recommend to anyone looking to take up the instrument regardless of age or experience (as an older beginner myself) :D
