About Ruby
I have 8 years of experience teaching piano and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Studies. My teaching approach focuses on helping students build confidence through clear and simple instruction.
I adapt lessons based on each learner’s pace and goals. Some students focus on technical growth, while others focus on musical expression. I support both paths with structured guidance.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano and exploring different teaching methods. This helps me improve my lessons regularly. My goal is to help students become confident and independent musicians.

My piano lessons focus on building strong technical and musical foundations. We work on hand coordination, finger independence, scales, chord progressions, rhythm accuracy, note reading, and expressive dynamics. Each lesson is structured for clear progress.
Students practice short exercises, simple songs, sight reading, ear training, and guided performance pieces. I explain each step in a simple way so learners understand how to improve without confusion. Practice is designed to be consistent and manageable.
Over time, students gain better control of the keyboard and stronger musical confidence. They learn to play with expression while keeping accuracy and rhythm. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable and effective for every student.
