About Kina
I began my piano journey at age seven, captivated by how a single melody could transform a mood. After more than fifteen years of study and performance, I discovered my true passion lies in sharing that experience with others. Teaching allows me to connect deeply with people and guide them towards their own musical breakthroughs. My teaching style balances structure with warmth. I’m patient but purposeful, ensuring each student feels both challenged and supported. I adapt lessons to personal learning styles — visual, auditory, or kinaesthetic — and celebrate small victories along the way. This adaptability helps students develop consistency and confidence without pressure. Outside lessons, I enjoy composing short piano pieces and performing at local events. Continuous learning keeps my teaching fresh and imaginative. For me, teaching piano isn’t a task — it’s a calling to help others discover the emotional language of music.

Every piano lesson I teach begins with the belief that music is both a discipline and a joy. My approach nurtures students’ curiosity and emotional connection to sound, guiding them to feel the music rather than merely play the notes. I encourage mindful listening, fluid movement, and personal interpretation, so each session feels inspiring and deeply rewarding. Lessons are designed to grow with the student. Beginners learn posture, note reading, rhythm, and hand coordination through playful, confidence-building exercises. Intermediate players focus on phrasing, pedal control, and stylistic awareness, while advanced students refine interpretation, performance presence, and artistry. Each level receives structured yet flexible support, tailored to individual goals. Students often describe lessons as energising and empowering. Beyond technique, they gain patience, focus, and creative courage — qualities that serve them in life as much as in music. My aim is for every learner to leave the piano feeling inspired, capable, and proud of their growth.
