About Sophie
I am a piano tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. Teaching allows me to share my love of music while helping students achieve their personal musical goals.
I create supportive lessons that balance technical development with artistic expression. Every student receives individual guidance that encourages steady improvement and confidence.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing, exploring new piano music, and continuing my own musical studies. These experiences help me keep lessons inspiring, practical, and enjoyable.

My piano lessons begin with strong foundations in posture, rhythm, finger control, note reading, and musical listening. Students learn through enjoyable exercises that develop confidence while building solid technical skills.
As skills improve, we explore scales, chord progressions, sight reading, pedal technique, dynamics, phrasing, and duet playing. Creative activities and regular practice plans help students enjoy learning while improving steadily.
My aim is to help every learner become a confident pianist who enjoys both practice and performance. Lessons focus on musical understanding, creativity, and consistent growth.
