About MARCO
I'm Marco, a pianist and music enthusiast based in Sydney with a love for jazz improvisation and a passion for all things analog in a digital world. I teach piano primarily to adults, from seasoned musicians to curious beginners, and I bring a unique approach focused on the art of playing by ear and the thrill of real-time musical discovery.
My students often appreciate my attention to detail, the follow-up materials I provide after each lesson, and my work in film and TV composition. When I’m not teaching, you’ll probably find me around Potts Point, catching live music or connecting with other musicians who share my appreciation for the unfiltered sound of real, live performances. I’ve even started a Facebook group to bring local music lovers together, encouraging them to keep the soul in music and support face-to-face jams in a world of AI-generated beats.
