About Calla
My passion for piano began through early exposure to classical music and live musical performances that inspired curiosity and creativity. This interest led me to complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Music followed by a Master’s Degree in Piano Performance. During the past 10 years, I have taught students of different ages and experience levels while helping them grow through supportive and expressive music education.
I believe music lessons should feel inspiring, structured, and enjoyable for every learner. My teaching style focuses on practical playing, patient correction, and creative exploration that allows students to improve confidently at their own pace. I encourage learners to ask questions openly and experiment musically because confidence develops naturally through active participation and consistent practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing short piano pieces, accompanying singers, and studying different musical traditions and styles. Staying creatively involved with music helps me bring fresh ideas and inspiration into lessons regularly. Teaching piano is rewarding because I enjoy watching students become more expressive and confident over time. My goal is always to support learners in developing technical skill while building lasting love and appreciation for music.

My piano lessons focus on helping students enjoy music while building strong technical foundations and expressive playing skills. I teach rhythm training, note reading, hand coordination, scales, chord progressions, sight reading, and musical interpretation in a calm and supportive environment. Students learn how to connect technique with emotion so that playing feels natural, creative, and enjoyable. Every lesson encourages patience, consistency, and personal musical growth.
Lessons are carefully adjusted according to each student’s experience level and musical goals. Beginners focus on posture, finger independence, note recognition, and simple melodies, while advanced learners work on dynamics, improvisation, advanced repertoire, and performance preparation. I include duet playing, listening exercises, and rhythm activities regularly because interactive learning strengthens confidence and musical understanding effectively. Students receive detailed guidance that helps them improve steadily without feeling pressured or discouraged.
I aim to create a welcoming atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing themselves through music. Many learners begin with uncertainty or fear of making mistakes, so I focus on building confidence gradually through encouragement and structured practice. Over time, students improve coordination, musicality, and performance confidence naturally. Piano becomes much more meaningful when learners discover their own artistic voice and emotional connection with music.
