About Greg
I am a career musician very focused on the holistic and all-round education of my students. I believe in the responsibility my job brings and value my role in the arts community. I see my job as extending far beyond teaching piano and reading music.
I love all music and other performing arts.

I am extremely experienced across all levels. I build on strengthening areas of weakness to try and give technical security aurally, visually, kinesthetically and with memory.
Lessons start at 30 minutes and in some instances go for 2 hours with advanced students.
The majority of my current students are school ages but I have some advanced adults returning to playing for leisure.
I have a Doctorate from Boston University, a Master's degree from Boston University, a BMus (hons) from Victoria University and LTCL. I have been a member of the NZ IRMT since 2009.
I also play for competitors in competitions around New Zealand and about 150 exams (live and recorded) each year.
