About Jeovany

My approach was designed for motivated and willing learners who have the need and desire to go beyond what they think Physiotherapy should be in order to grasp what it is really all about: a healthcare tool.
As a physical therapy 4th year student, I have a good understanding of the human body and what helps/harms it. I have worked with many clients with various pathologies and states of conditioning in a work hardening program, orthopedic clinic, geriatric clinic, and even a little bit of pediatrics. I have a strong knowledge of the fundamentals of biomechanics and physiopathology.
I have always loved learning and teaching these topics.
Furthermore, I use dry needling(Certified), cupping, and electrotherapy techniques in my sessions, and I am willing to share these unusual techniques with my students.

About the lesson

My overall philosophy of teaching is simple: I hope to make the students that I interact with somehow richer from their experience(s) with me.
I approach each topic according to the short-term AND long-term needs of the student, whether they require help cramming and surviving an exam, or nurturing lifelong learning.
I am very regularly available and aim to respond to my students within a couple of hours. I understand the pressures of submitting academic work and will always be calm, friendly, sympathetic, and constructive.
