About Kate

Physics tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from high school to college. Have successfully taught around 300 students, helping many prepare for board exams, entrance tests, and lab practicals. My teaching philosophy is simple: physics is about understanding nature, not memorizing formulas. My job is to show you the logic behind every equation through patience, honest feedback, and visual demonstrations. I focus on building problem-solving skills along with conceptual clarity, so students enjoy physics rather than dread it. Notable achievement includes helping over 50 students score above 90 percent in final exams and guiding several to win science olympiad medals. I keep lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to each student's goals.

My teaching approach for Physics and related subjects is built on real-world applications, visualisation, and logical reasoning. I connect every physical principle to things you see daily, like motion, light, sound, and electricity, so you grasp the 'why' behind every formula. We break down complex topics like Newton's laws, circuits, waves, and thermodynamics into simple, relatable analogies. I encourage creative thinking by asking you to visualise problems and derive equations from first principles. Motivation comes from setting weekly goals, solving past exam papers, and celebrating every concept conquered. Integrity means I give honest feedback, never pretend you understand when you don't, and always respect your learning pace. For Physics, we cover kinematics, dynamics, work-energy, rotational motion, gravitation, electrostatics, current electricity, magnetism, ray optics, wave optics, sound waves, heat transfer, and modern physics basics. We also work on lab experiments, error analysis, and graphical interpretation. I also teach related subjects that support your physics understanding: Mathematics for Physics – calculus, vectors, trigonometry, and differential equations. Chemistry for Physics – atomic models, thermodynamics, and gas laws. Engineering Basics – circuits, mechanics, and materials. In every lesson, I use case studies from real-world engineering and my own students. For example, I show how one student mastered projectile motion using a simple simulation tool, then we apply that to your current problems. I share stories of students who overcame fear of electromagnetism by visualising field lines with simple drawings. My sessions are interactive, not lectures. We solve problems together, draw diagrams, use simulations, and discuss thought experiments. I assign practical homework like solving 10 numerical problems, drawing ray diagrams, or watching a demonstration video and explaining the physics behind it. I adapt my pace to you, slower if needed, faster if you are ready. Most importantly, I create a safe space where wrong answers are stepping stones. I never compare you to others, only to your previous self. I keep detailed notes of each lesson so we always build on what we did before. My goal is not just to make you pass exams, but to make you a confident, analytical, and curious physicist.
