About Dara
I have 9 years of experience teaching Physics to students preparing for examinations and advanced scientific study. I earned a B.Sc in Theoretical Physics, which provided strong grounding in mathematical reasoning, physical modelling, and the deeper principles that shape natural laws. This academic background allows me to explain physics with clarity and depth.
My teaching approach is supportive, structured, and focused on building understanding step by step. I enjoy helping learners overcome intimidation by making difficult ideas approachable through diagrams, real-world examples, and patient explanation. Physics becomes much less intimidating when students learn to see equations as descriptions of real-world behaviour rather than abstract symbols. In my lessons, I guide learners through mechanics, forces, motion, waves, electricity, and energy systems using clear explanation and supportive discussion. I focus on helping students build strong conceptual understanding, so problem-solving feels meaningful instead of stressful. Each session encourages curiosity while strengthening academic confidence.
Lessons are personalised to student level. Beginners focus on basic laws of motion, simple calculations, and visual understanding of forces. Intermediate learners develop stronger reasoning in circuits, wave behaviour, momentum, and multi-step problem solving. Advanced students refine derivations, exam-style written explanations, and deeper conceptual justification of complex topics. Practice problems and feedback are included in every lesson.
