About Trudy
Possessing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the University of Sydney, do you ever feel like the language of physics is just a series of disconnected formulas? After working with 88 students, I have realized that the subject is much more accessible when we move slowly through the core concepts.
My approach incorporates kinematics, units and measurements, electricity and magnetism, and optics to build a complete picture of the physical world. I emphasize practical and lab work alongside graph interpretation to help homework help feel like a logical progression of ideas rather than a chore. This patient, warm method allows me to act as a confidence-building coach while we navigate these topics at your own pace, keeping things simple.

Rather than jumping straight to the most difficult equations, I prefer to start by examining the simple physical reality of a scenario. Learning happens best when you stop memorizing steps and start asking why things move the way they do. Drawing on 13 years of experience, I guide you through lab work or electricity concepts with a steady hand. My background in Applied Mathematics means I look at physics as a story told through data, which makes graph interpretation much more intuitive for most people.
Helping you feel comfortable with the math behind the physics is a big part of the work we do together. We keep the atmosphere light and focused on constant improvement.
