About Jonah
I'm a senior in college with over 1000 hours of experience teaching students in math and physics. I have been a teaching assistant for two years, lead my college's math and physics tutoring center, and grade for many physics and math courses. I also run multiple semi-private physics tutoring sessions every week.
As a student, I get the struggle that comes with starting out in college or taking physics and math courses that are required for other majors. This puts me in a great position to help share my knowledge and advice with other students!

I take a relaxed, but engaging approach to teaching. My style is very adaptive to different students and learning styles, though I like to emphasize critical thinking by using a question-based approach. Often, students would prefer to work with another student rather than a teacher, professor, or other adult. If that sounds like you, then I'm your guy!
While my specialty is introductory physics and math at the undergraduate level, I also have lots of experience tutoring middle and high school math. In a given lesson, we might discuss the basic concepts behind a given problem and then learn how to apply those concepts in a variety of different situations. Or, we can tailor a lesson to something specific that you want to work on or learn about!
