About Jena
I am currently physics major at Virginia Tech. I am currently in my junior year, and I am expected to graduate in the spring of 2024. I had learning disabilities all throughout my life. I have dyslexia, but I never let that stop me. I wish for students to feel confident in their class. The best way to learn or feel confident in something is to be able to learn and teach others. I want students to feel comfortable to ask any kind of question, even if the question might seem simple. Everyone can learn math; it just takes time and sometimes we need a little help.

We will start with looking at context clues in the textbook, seeing multiple examples on how the problem is supposed to be solved, and using color coded options to provide a better basis for visual learners.
A typical lesson plan would involve going over the topic of choice and doing multiple example problems.
Assist with homework but only after doing different sample problems, to ensure the student understands the information.
Help promote good study plans.
These lessons are for students in high school, and middle school. It will primarily focus on all levels of algebra and geometry.
