About Varun
Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at the University of Regina physics department. Apart from my research, I worked as a Teaching Assistant in lab sessions and have experience for over two years. This includes both online and in-person teaching. The tasks that I carried out included marking for undergrad physics classes,
delivering a pre-lab talk for students taking lab evaluating weekly submissions and uploading marks, clearing their doubts and queries during the class, etc. Prior to joining the university, I
worked as a guest faculty for one year in a college back in my home country taking classes for undergrad and master’s students. Also, I have more than 3 years of experience tutoring physics
and maths for grade 8-12 students during my undergrad and master’s period. I am passionate about teaching and would be happy to carry out this responsibility.
