About Ai

A little about me: I graduated from Burnside High School with top grades. In Year 13, I took eight subjects and earned a large number of Excellence credits. I also studied Cambridge Mathematics (O, A and A* level) and took MATH199 (university-level mathematics) at the University of Canterbury.

I’m currently studying Physics at Nagoya University. I love physics and math, and I want to help you improve your results while also making the subjects feel interesting and achievable.

I truly believe teachers can make or break a subject. My goal is to explain things clearly, build strong fundamentals, and help you gain enough confidence that you can start to enjoy physics and math—maybe even fall in love with them.

I’ve been teaching since high school and tutoring part-time for over five to six years. I like tutoring because it’s rewarding to see things “click” for someone, and I want to be a tutor who inspires you to keep learning beyond what you thought you could do.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is simple: every student is different, so every lesson should be different too. I tailor lessons to your goals, your level, and the way you learn best—no two students receive the exact same lesson.

I’ve been teaching since high school, and I’ve been tutoring part-time for over five to six years. I genuinely enjoy teaching, and I care about helping students feel confident, supported, and capable.

In lessons, we can:
• work through homework together (step-by-step, so you understand why each step works),
• prepare for school exams and external exams,
• strengthen fundamentals if there are gaps, or
• go beyond the syllabus to explore topics you’re curious about.

If you’re interested, I can also introduce university-level concepts I’ve studied and help you build deeper understanding—not just memorization.

You’re also welcome to message me questions between lessons, so you’re not stuck if something comes up while you’re studying on your own.

My goal is for you to leave each lesson feeling clearer, more confident, and with a plan for what to do next. I focus on building skills you can use independently in exams, so you can solve problems on your own—not just during our sessions.
