About Lili
I have completed my secondary school education and am now at Imperial College London, studying physics.
I have tutored children of various ages (7-19) since my last year of secondary school and have been working as an outreach mentor at my university for almost two years. This involves both pastoral care and mentoring in STEM-based activities.
I like to focus on achieving a thorough understanding of topics rather than just being able to answer generic questions. I always ask students to explicate their reasoning and defend their answers.
I believe that enthusiasm for the subject being studied as well as a genuine understanding of the fundamentals and underlying principles are the key to success.
I teach maths and physics up to A-level, whether that means preparing for a specific test or going beyond the curriculum if a student is highly motivated.
