About Ildar
I have a Ph.D. in Physics. My scientific interests include photonics, plasmonics, and nanophotonics. I was teaching in different institutions from community college to Columbia University. I was teaching Physics, Astrophysics, Physical Sciences, Photonics, and Material Science. My former students did graduate study at Stanford, UC Irvine, USC, and other universities, working in different companies.

I like the practical approach. It is not enough just to read a textbook, you should connect it with a real word. I found that this is the most effective way of teaching. And being a professional researcher you see things differently as a whole. For a high school teacher, Physics is the thing written in textbooks. For a physicist, it is research done by other fellow physicists.
