I'm a Physics PhD student with around 8 years experience teaching. I've demonstrated in the first year physics labs at the University of New South Wales for 5 years and have taught and marked physics from high school to third year university.

I want to get students to ask themselves how to approach and solve the problem rather than just memorising textbook answers. I do this basically by never telling the student what the answer is but guiding them towards the answer with a series of questions designed to make them think about the problem.
