About Lizbeth
I am a dedicated and highly motivated Physics educator with a strong academic and research background. I hold a PhD in Physics and have experience working as an Assistant Professor, teaching and mentoring students at different academic levels. My professional experience in both teaching and research has helped me develop a clear, patient, and supportive teaching style that encourages students to build confidence in their abilities.
I understand that Physics and Mathematics can feel challenging for many students, so I focus on creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring concepts in depth. My lessons are carefully planned according to each student’s learning needs, strengths, and goals.
As an educator, I place great importance on professionalism, punctuality, and preparation. I provide structured lessons, regular feedback, and continuous support to help students improve their understanding, problem-solving skills, and examination performance. I also emphasise conceptual clarity rather than memorisation, enabling students to develop long-term academic confidence.
My teaching experience includes supporting students preparing for GCSE, A-Level, and university-level studies. I have guided students through difficult topics, assignment preparation, exam revision, and scientific problem-solving techniques. I am passionate about helping learners achieve their academic goals while also developing curiosity and enthusiasm for science and mathematics.
Students and parents can expect a professional, respectful, and supportive learning experience focused on progress, confidence building, and academic success.

I am a passionate and dedicated Physics educator with a strong academic background, including a PhD in Physics and experience working as an Assistant Professor and researcher. My teaching approach focuses on making complex concepts simple, engaging, and easy to understand. I believe every student can excel in Physics and Mathematics when lessons are adapted to their individual learning style and pace.
In my classes, I use a student-centred teaching methodology that combines conceptual understanding with problem-solving practice. I explain topics using real-life examples, diagrams, visual methods, and step-by-step solutions to help students build confidence and develop analytical thinking skills. I also focus on exam techniques, past paper practice, and identifying common misconceptions, especially in challenging topics within Physics and Mathematics.
Lessons are usually 60 to 90 minutes long depending on the student’s requirements and level. Each lesson is well-structured with concept explanations, interactive discussions, worked examples, and practice questions to ensure steady progress and active participation.
I have experience teaching secondary school, undergraduate, and postgraduate students, including tutoring GCSE, A-Level, and university-level Physics and Mathematics. My academic and research background allows me to guide students not only for examinations but also for deeper subject understanding and academic growth.
My lessons are suitable for:
GCSE Physics and Mathematics students
A-Level Physics and Mathematics students
University students studying Physics-related subjects
Students who need support with assignments, problem-solving, or exam preparation
Learners who want to improve confidence and achieve higher grades
I aim to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing a genuine interest in science and mathematics.
