About Iris
My passion for physics stems from an early fascination with understanding how the universe operates, from planetary motion to the principles of energy and force. This curiosity led me to pursue a B.Sc in Physics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Physics, equipping me with a strong foundation in both theoretical and experimental aspects. Over 10 years of teaching, I have worked with students of varied ages and skill levels, helping them develop deep understanding, problem-solving abilities, and self-confidence.
I adopt a structured, patient, and adaptable teaching approach. Many learners initially struggle with abstract mathematical concepts or complex theories, so I focus on breaking them down into manageable components, using practical examples, stepwise reasoning, and visual aids. I encourage active participation, curiosity-driven exploration, and iterative learning, ensuring students internalize concepts rather than memorize formulas.
Outside the classroom, I actively engage with research developments, scientific literature, and educational strategies to enrich my teaching content. I strive to make lessons dynamic, relevant, and stimulating, providing students with both theoretical insight and practical application. Witnessing learners progress from confusion to competence and confidence remains immensely rewarding. Helping students cultivate analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and a resilient approach to problem-solving is the core of my work as a physics educator.

Physics becomes captivating when learners can link abstract concepts to tangible phenomena they encounter daily. My lessons focus on fundamental topics such as classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, magnetism, and waves, weaving theory with practical applications to reinforce understanding. I emphasize conceptual clarity, step-by-step reasoning, and logical problem-solving, using diagrams, interactive simulations, and relatable examples to cultivate curiosity and confidence. Students are encouraged to ask questions, explore scenarios, and test ideas in a safe, supportive environment, building both comprehension and independent thinking.
Each lesson is tailored to the student’s knowledge and goals. Beginners develop foundational understanding through clear explanations of laws, experiments, and problem-solving strategies. Intermediate learners engage with multi-step calculations, circuit analysis, and applied problem-solving techniques. Advanced students explore analytical derivations, theoretical applications, and experimental interpretations, sharpening precision and conceptual depth. Each session balances instruction, guided practice, and reflective discussion to foster mastery and lasting confidence.
Physics lessons cultivate analytical reasoning, scientific literacy, and intellectual resilience. Students learn to approach complex problems methodically, interpret data accurately, and appreciate the elegance of physical laws in daily life. Many experience excitement as they observe theoretical principles manifest in practical scenarios, strengthening both knowledge and curiosity. My aim is to empower learners to excel academically while fostering enduring confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong appreciation for the world of physics.
