About Shreya
Like I said before I’m a Physics major. My other interest include music (I play the guitar, piano and occasionally the ukulele) and I’m a published poet. I’ve dabbled in every hobby you could think of but my first love will always be physics. Growing up I wasn’t very good at science in school but I realised over the years that you don’t have to be the sharpest tool in the box to do this subject, you simply need to be the hardest worker. Both my grandparents worked in the nuclear reactor so I had foundational knowledge of the material sciences and nuclear physics from a pretty young age. I’m currently in my second year of my BSc degree and my dream is to work on building an economical fusion reactor one day.

Science is a subject that has a reputation of being overly complicated and difficult to understand. My method of teaching is to simplify concepts and introduce jargon and notations in a systematic manner. I teach through diagrams, flow charts and sometimes animations in order to build a picture of the concept in the student’s mind. The scientific concepts I teach will be accessible, easy to follow and heavily based on problem solving.
