About Prisha

As a tutor, my biggest priority is making my students feel smart and capable. I do my best to maintain a friendly relationship so my students feel comfortable speaking up if they are confused or lost.

A typical session with me would include homework help and content clarification. I will reach out 24-48 hours prior to class to understand what you would like to work on and create some materials based on that.

My lessons are for high school students looking for help tightening up their writing, working on reading comprehension, or writing essays and stories.

Feel free to reach out with questions!

About the lesson

Hi everyone! I am a college freshman at the University of Pittsburgh majoring in Physics.

I am a skilled reader and writer; I have scored a 5 in AP English Language and Composition as well as a perfect score on the English SAT. Moreover, I was a finalist for the National Merit Scholarship.

As for my experience as a tutor, I spent about a year coaching swimming to kids 3-14, 3 months tutoring the SAT, and 3 months tutoring elementary schoolers.
