About Ayla
My passion for physics began with curiosity about the universe and its governing laws. I pursued an M.Sc in Theoretical Physics, gaining expertise in mechanics, quantum theory, and mathematical modelling. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped students navigate challenging concepts with clarity, patience, and structured guidance, transforming apprehension into confidence and curiosity.
I believe in adaptable, clear, and supportive teaching. I tailor explanations to each learner’s style, breaking complex topics into manageable steps, integrating visual aids, examples, and problem-solving exercises. I emphasise conceptual understanding, reasoning, and critical thinking, encouraging students to explore ideas actively and independently.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with contemporary physics research and educational developments. Teaching physics is rewarding because I see students grow from uncertainty to mastery, developing confidence and curiosity. Supporting their intellectual growth and appreciation of the scientific world is the most fulfilling aspect of my work.

Physics lessons with me aim to make complex scientific concepts approachable, relevant, and engaging. I focus on building conceptual understanding first, using real-world examples, visual demonstrations, and thought experiments to explain phenomena such as mechanics, electromagnetism, waves, and thermodynamics. Lessons are interactive and structured, emphasising reasoning and logical analysis so learners can independently approach new problems with confidence. I encourage questions, discussions, and active exploration, fostering a sense of curiosity and ownership in learning.
As students advance, lessons integrate mathematical modelling, derivations, and problem-solving strategies. I help learners refine skills in quantitative analysis, multi-step reasoning, and application of theoretical principles to experimental contexts. Practice exercises are carefully structured, and feedback is detailed and supportive, focusing on both process and outcomes.
