About George
I graduated from the University of Sheffield with a 2:1 in Physics. Despite my low A-Level grades, I managed to pass a Foundation Year which led to me studying Physics at degree level. I believe that I flourished at University due to the lecturer's somewhat "unorthodox" teaching methods; quite unlike the teaching at school, which can be dull, uninteresting and a completely unpersonalised experience. I have also been a student of music for most of my life; the ethos of 'practice makes perfect' has been instilled into me from an early age. This is a certain skill that is extremely useful in studying maths and physics.What really sets some students apart from the rest is if they have a tutor or not. Tutors tend to teach differently to normal teachers and notice student's skills that teachers don't. I would love to be a part of this process and let a student realise their potential to excel in education and life.
