About Harrison
I've recently completed a MPhys in Physics and Astronomy at a top ranking UK university. I have extensive experience inspiring and teaching students in sailing, granted it is not directly a STEM subject, however retaining the interest of individual students whilst teaching them more than they expected to learn, is a skill that I can safely say I have good experience with. Remember, no question is a stupid question, so please ask away, who knows, maybe we end up publishing a paper together! (Disclaimer - I like my humour)

It would be tailored to the students needs and or interests: if a particular explanation does not click, I will look outside the box for ways to better explain to the particular individual.
An either 30-60 minute lesson would consist of going through fundamental background theories and working through problems with guidance. If there are interests that are further to the taught curriculum that I also have experience in, I am happy to broaden that horizon too!
I have 10 years of experience in teaching professionally part-time, as I have worked with 8-13 year olds teaching both practical and theory of sailing.
I am interested in teaching physics, maths and or further maths courses for GCSE and A level students.

Harrison has always explained concepts to me in a clear and effective manner - never losing his patience even when I've asked him to explain simple concepts repeatedly. He has a thorough understanding of Maths and Physics and is passionate about these subjects which makes him a great tutor. Highly recommend!
Having studied at Durham University in the UK, as well as having a very international background, I would definitely recommend Harrison for tutoring purposes as his knowledge is very vast. I have seen myself Harrison's skill in explaining phenomenons in the area of physics, and I am sure he would match his way of passing on the knowledge to every individual that reaches out to him. He is very passionate in his areas of interest and will not only explain but stimulate others in showing them how exciting the world around us actually is.
