About Yamen
If you're looking for a tutor to sit back and give your child questions or if you're looking for a tutor that sees teaching as a way to make money and not put their full effort into the job, that's not me. I am an experienced tutor that tailors my teaching style based on the young person's needs. I teach certain topics differently in what is taught at school to make a certain topic more understandable and easier to remember. I am fun and engaging and have tutored for around 4 years professionaly helping many students on their road to success but I have actually started teaching at the age of 6 when my younger sibling was underperforming at school. Teaching is in my blood and I don't just consider teaching my "job", I consider it a hobby and I am looking forward to working with your child to help them on their way to success.

Passionate, determined and charismatic are attributes associated to me, which have also aided me in my approach to teaching. I began as a maths tutor at the young age of seventeen, teaching a wide range of GCSE level students.
Maths is a subject that I could never tire of, I thoroughly enjoy its challenges and the intricacies that are involved in solving problems. I always aim to reflect this into teaching, by ensuring my students understand the content and build their confidence. I teach in a clear, structured manner.
Maths requires patience and practice, which I install into my students. Teaching has allowed me to feed my enthusiasm and love for maths by delving deeper into the subject and exposing its contents in my lesson plans in interesting and engaging methods. After my years of tutoring, I began working full time as a teacher in a secondary school.
My promotion to head of the maths and physics department, displayed my enthusiasm and hard work towards teaching. I have also received a job offer at a highly renowned school. I can take initiative due to years of teaching allowing me to gain skills that are transferable to a widespread of jobs.
