About Marco

Hi, I’m Marco, and I’m really excited to be part of your journey in learning! With a background in Quantum Physics and extensive experience as a Software Engineer, I’m here to help you make sense of even the trickiest topics in Maths and Physics. My goal is to make lessons fun and easy to understand, so you feel confident and ready to tackle your exams. In our first lesson, we’ll take the time to understand your goals. Together, we’ll create a plan tailored to your needs that will guide you on your path to success. Let’s work together to help you make progress every step of the way!

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centred around making complex concepts in Maths and Physics accessible and engaging. I focus on building a solid understanding of core principles, breaking down abstract ideas into simpler, manageable steps. I use real-world examples to connect theory to practical applications, helping students see the relevance of what they’re learning. I encourage active participation during lessons, guiding students through problem-solving while also encouraging them to ask questions and explore concepts in-depth. My goal is to build confidence and ensure mastery of the foundational material before moving on to more advanced topics. Each lesson lasts 50 minutes, with time allocated for reviewing previous material, teaching new concepts, and guided practice. At the end of each session, I provide practice problems and set goals for the next lesson to keep students focused and motivated. I hold a Master’s degree in Quantum Physics, which allows me to teach both advanced and foundational topics with clarity. My extensive experience as Software Engineer further enhances me to apply theoretical principles to real-world scenarios. These lessons are designed for GCSE and A-Level students, typically ages 14-18, who are looking to strengthen their understanding and build their confidence while exploring this fascinating world.
